The village of Obercunnersdorf (first mentioned in 1221) is small but full of half-timbered cottages. It’s worth just walking through the logs (you can do it in an hour). Then you can stop at the Konditorei cafe (interesting interior, typical German desserts and coffee) or you can cool off at the local swimming pool.
