What to do the second day in Bohemian Switzerland? Look around from the Jetřichovice Walls.
We set off from the village of Jetřichovice to Mariina skála with a viewpoint (428 m above sea level). The elevation gain from Jetřichovice is 200 m. The only way along the plain is to the former First Republic children’s convalescent home. We climb up and up between the stones on a sandy path with steps. In 30 minutes we see the peak. “Mariina” is above us. The viewpoint can be climbed even with children, the path is up steep iron stairs (approx. 5 min). The views are definitely worth it.
We continue along the red trail through Vilemínina vyhlídka at the crossroads by the Purkartická road, where we go towards the Na Tokání hunting lodges (2 km). At the Na Tokáni restaurant (usually open out of season, more: www.tokan.cz). Return either by the shorter green route to Jetřichovice or the yellow route around Falkenštejn.
