Edmund’s gorge, formerly called Tichá, is a rocky canyon of the Kamenice river. The gorge begins in the village of Hřensko (yellow tourist sign). The walls are steep, often vertical rock faces, rising above the surface to a height of 50 to 150 meters.
In the section where the rocks fall directly into the water, the journey is replaced by a boat trip (with a guide for 26 people). It is possible to cover a section of 960 m by water, which is connected by a footpath to the Mezní mostek, from where it is possible to continue to the Wild gorge or climb the stairs to Mezná or to Janov. Note if you are traveling with a stroller, return the same way along the yellow road to Hřensko.
