At Bohemian Cottage, we believe that the cold months and winter silence are the most precious time to return to ourselves. We are open all year round because we know that you don’t need to recharge your batteries in the summer, but right now.
Warming rituals for cold days
Imagine the contrast: it’s freezing outside or raining lightly and you’re sitting in a wood-scented sauna. The heat permeates every muscle. Then all you have to do is immerse yourself in a hot open-air bath – the steam rises to the sky and you just observe the sleeping garden. This is the medicine that our body really needs in winter.

The light within us When the sun is missing outside, we seek it in movement and breath. Our Meditation Linden Hall is your refuge. Yoga in the warmth of your home, accompanied by a cup of herbal tea from our meadows, will dispel winter fatigue and restore your lost energy.

The scent of home and quiet walks Winter mornings here start slowly. A breakfast basket full of honest flavors will wait for you until you get a good night’s sleep. And if you feel like moving, the surrounding forests of Bohemian Switzerland are at their quietest in winter – no crowds, just you, the crunch of snow or frozen leaves, and clean air that will clear your head.
